E1KaD Las Vegas Review Part 3
Ahh, the final part of the review. Took a lot longer than I wanted to, but hopefully the overview is helping you. Now, let’s cover the second day of the presentations…
Sunday, May 23, 2010
After a refreshing night’s staying up (Nope, I didn’t really sleep. Too many things rolling through my brain!), the second day of the conference was equally as exhilarating as the first day.
First up for Sunday was arguably my favorite presentation of the whole show – Michael Gunn’s “Part Time Profit Club”. The reason it was my favorite was that it really hit home and covered a lot of my problems with my IM business. Part-time profit club covered many issues related to working full time, supporting a family, and trying to run an internet marketing business. Mindset, strategies, systems, balance – it was truly remarkable how I found myself nodding “yes” each and every time Mike brought up an issue. If you “do IM” part time, THIS presentation is THE one you will want to see.
After Michael was a good friend of mine, Wil Mattos (Creator of S3FlowShield). His presentation was all about creating info products. We actually created a group information product during the presentation – it was quite cool. The presentation covered all the how’s and the why’s of creating your own information product. Anyone should be able to create their own product in a relatively short time after seeing this presentation.
Next up was Jason Fladlien. If you’ve ever seen Jason present, or listened to one of his audios, you know how dynamic he can be…and how much value he delivers. This presentation was no different. “A Simple Membership Model” was a literal step by step method in setting up a membership website – why, how, the pitfalls of, etc. It was extremely informative! I’m taking much of that information and putting it to use in my upcoming PLR video website (oops, did I just let that slip out?
).
James Jones usually needs no introduction; he’s a super affiliate and master email marketer. You might know his product, MicroNicheFinder. He provided valuable information on building profitable email lists. You know, the ones that can create tons of cash on demand. He gave us a method to create a list of 1000 people in 30 days. Not every day you get something like THAT handed to you. If you aren’t building a list, you should be – and you should definitely see this presentation!
The last presenter was Kevin Rockwell, master of all things Video. He’s owned 2 video production companies, and he has 18 years as CNN San Franscisco chief videographer. So, anything this guy says about video, I’m taking as gospel. There are still a LOT of people out there who are not doing any sort of video marketing. Kevin basically took any hesitancy out of everyone at the presentation. Everything from the right camera, to lighting, to editing, to setting up slideshows – it was all there and all relevant. I felt a lot more comfortable about doing videos afterward.
To say the weekend was productive is a gross understatement. The time I spent with all of the wonderful people at the conference both during the day and all of our “mini-conferences” over dinner and into the night. Chinese dinner and a limo ride with Tim Castleman, Jason Fladlien, and a bunch of other awesome people… Walking down the strip to grab some fine Italian food with a large group of successful and like minded people – you are FORCED to shift to a successful mindset.
For this reason, I hope to see YOU next year at the 2011 Earn1KaDay summit. You’ve simply got to come. You can’t afford NOT to.
