In the vast, cutthroat world of internet marketing, you have to start somewhere. And, by internet marketing, I mean the work-from-home online creation and/or marketing of information products, niche websites, software, and money-making opportunities.

My company, YourOwnWeb.com, specializes in web design, development, and small-business online marketing. I’ve been around the block a few times in the internet marketing world, so I decided to expand and create a site just for that competitive crowd.

You will see practically no blatant, all-out “because everyone else is doing it” affiliate promotions here. I’m an affiliate for a ton of products and services. I probably only actively market 5 percent of those; Because I like to promote things I use and love. We all get 16 emails at a time promoting the same thing – and I dislike that practice.

I am not a “guru”. (I hate that term too, and whoever coined it for successful internet marketers). I am not a millionaire, nor will I try to convince you that I am. I do make a decent living with my sales, and I believe in helping others.
