Internet Marketing T-Shirts

Posted by IMNR on Thursday, 28 August, 2008

KeywordsThere aren’t a whole lot of wearable products out in the world related to Internet Marketing or MLM, so I decided to head out and set up a store on CafePress. Right now there are only a few designs in the store. I’m planning to add more merchandise, such as mugs and mousepads. Not to mention more designs.

Creative outlet, you ask? Yeah, I love coming up with stuff and putting it to Photoshop. You can bet that you’ll find me wearing some of these a lot. There are nights when I’m brainstorming ideas for my businesses that I will just open up Photoshop and “noodle around”. Some of these designs originate from that “noodling”! So, if you feel inclined to wear a shirt that will have your friends green with envy (or perplexed about their meaning), take a look at the store today. The link to T-Shirts above will also get you there. Enjoy!

What’s Going On Lately

Posted by IMNR on Saturday, 14 June, 2008

So it has been a little while since I posted. I’ve actually been up to some things, and I wanted to share them with you!

I signed up with and have been spending a lot of time on the Earn1KaDay site. I have to be completely honest here; I’ve learned more there in the couple of weeks I have been a member than I have in YEARS on other forums. It is a smaller group (not quite 700 members now), and TONS more focused than anything I have ever seen before. I have more confidence and clarity in my direction. I finally feel truly connected to a group of people who have a common goal; do IM full time. It IS a paid forum, and for good reason. Before you balk at that, think about how many ebooks and videos and whatnot you buy in a month, then compare the cost of that to Earn1KaDay. You’ll most likely be shocked at the difference. I know I was! Here’s a secret – you know the cool WSO’s at the Warrior Forum? A lot of them are available inside Earn1KaDay – so quit scattering your money around and focus!

I also just recently bought in to a new challenge that Matt and John Rhodes (of SimpleCashBlog fame) are putting on. 100 Days to $100 a Day Blog Challenge. It cost me $127 to get in, but I feel I’m up to it. There are some areas that they are going to cover that are outside my “comfort zone”, such as article writing. I’m terrible at article writing. I am determined to make this work – and if the Brothers Rhodes will permit me, I’ll post a synopsis of the course here as I go. Hold on…

Just got back from the mailbox. Got a check from SFI (I love commissions!), some MRR videos on a CD that I ordered – I’ll make them available to you, and a box of business cards that I ordered.
Side note: have you ever ordered cards from VistaPrint? This Link will get you up to 75 percent off, if you do it before the end of July. I recommend having business cards. I usually choose one of their designs and modify it with my logo – that way it is not very expensive. I don’t recommend their free cards for a business – they are everywhere. Spend a couple of bucks and do it right.

OK, I think that is enough for now. I’m going to spend some time with my family. Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there!

Why limit your customers?

Posted by IMNR on Tuesday, 1 January, 2008

I was excited to find a new master resell rights video product today, that I was going to pick up and offer it here to VIP’s for a very reduced price. I opted not to purchase it, however. Why? It is a video product wrapped in a .exe ebook – it’s Windows only.

Yes, I realize that most of you are on Windows machines. But, being a multi-platform user, developer, and marketer myself (Mac, Unix, Windows), I would rather skip over a good product that limits who can use it. And, yes, I also realize that you can run Windows on Macintosh computers now, but not everyone has the luxury of having the newer Mac hardware that can do so.

Call it a “personal policy” for 2008. And for those of you who are wondering about my product AffiliateManagerPro? A Mac version will be available very soon. :-)

Happy New Year

Posted by IMNR on Tuesday, 1 January, 2008

Just wanted to write a note to wish you, dear reader, a happy new year! Have you made your 2008 plans yet? I have. What’s keeping you?

So, in the spirit of the new year, I’m going to share with you some of what I’m doing.

1. I’m consolidating my websites. One of the weaknesses I’ve found is trying to run too many websites in too many niches. So, I’ll be taking some of my more neglected websites (and domain names) and shutting ‘em down. I may sell them off, or raffle them to my loyal readers here at NewbieReview – I don’t know yet.

2. I’m going to resurrect a former success – InternetSuccessVideos.com – as a low cost membership website. One of the most difficult things to come across as a newcomer to internet marketing is information on things you really need, be it basic technical information about setting up hosting and domains, to more in depth items such as creating minisites with Photoshop and Dreamweaver. The new InternetSuccessVideos will cover those needs. So, please accept this as a personal invitation to send me topics you want to see video on.

3. I’m going to add more resources to my affiliate marketing support efforts. As you may know, I’m the developer of AffiliateManagerPro, a “Personal Information Manager” for affiliate marketers. I’m also developing a new website product for eBay affiliates that is quite cool and easy to use.

4. And, most of all, I’m going to ramp up my efforts here. I’ve become quite fond of NewbieReview (I hope you have too), and I want to give you as much as I possibly can to help you in your internet marketing and webmastering ventures. I’d like to think the information I’ve hunted down and put up here for you has helped in some small way. :-)

You might ask why I’m posting this information – why would I give away some of my plans? First, I fully believe in creating relationships with each and every one of my clients and readers. I owe it to you to let you know what my plans are. Second? Accountability. It’s here in writing, and I darn well better stick to it or I’m sure some of you will write at me and yell if I don’t. ;-)

More products, more information, more free stuff… sound good? So, in a nutshell, that is my 2008.

Have a safe and happy new year celebration, and let’s make 08 great!

-Dave Gammage

New Blog Visitors

Posted by IMNR on Thursday, 6 September, 2007

Welcome to my viewers from Common-Man-Marketing.com and InternetSuccessWorkshop.com – I’m pleased to have you here. I’ve shut those blogs down for several reasons; mainly so I can concentrate on this blog and my core business. (I had too many darn blogs!) While this blog caters towards newcomers to internet marketing, I hope you’ll find some goodies here too.

Just working…

Posted by IMNR on Wednesday, 29 August, 2007

…on some new and cool things – which is why there haven’t been any posts in a couple weeks. Without going into too much detail, I’ve been secretly developing a new, simple way to make some cash with your extra domains without wasting time parking them. And ssshhhhh don’t tell anyone…but if you want to get a sneak peek and be a tester, I’m looking for 10 people. Contact me through this site if you are interested!

I’ve also been working on building a new hosting service…

So life has been busy! I hope everything is good for all of you. Fall is just around the corner, and we are entering prime time for opportunities – so gear up and get your products ready now for fall and winter sales!

Whew…Firesale power restored!

Posted by IMNR on Saturday, 28 July, 2007

After over 800 sales and a third server being added, the SendUsToUS firesale is back up to speed. The sale proved so popular, a second, then third, server had to be added to handle the load! The third server is now up and running and downloads have resumed. The organizers have indicated that the membership site will stay open for 60 days, so there is plenty of time to download all of the material and bonuses. (Good for me, since I haven’t downloaded everything as of yet either!). So, if you haven’t gone there, go there now and get your stuff before this sale is gone – it ends Wednesday!

How to KILL a web server

Posted by IMNR on Friday, 27 July, 2007

I’ve been talking about the SendUsToUS firesale the past few days. If you haven’t been in on it, the price went up today…but I think it is still an incredible deal.

With that said…

With all the popularity that this has generated (who wouldn’t want 100+ resell rights products for cheap), we managed to obliterate the download server. The sales page and member site is still up, but the gang had to put in a rush order for a new server for the downloads, which will be live on July 28 by 3 PM Eastern. I wouldn’t have a problem still ordering, but you may have to wait a day for all of your files.

SendUsToUS – how to kill a web server! :-)

It’s big, but you’ll have to wait for tomorrow.

Posted by IMNR on Tuesday, 24 July, 2007

I just got word of a big resell rights deal that is happening tomorrow from a friend of mine. I’m kinda ticked that he didn’t tell me about it sooner.

If you know me you know I’m a big proponent of having your own product to sell, as opposed to just relying on affiliate income.

So, I’ve seen it and it really is quite big and clever. I can’t give you any links until tomorrow though….but I can tell you that it will last one week only, 150+ marketers are involved, and if you are interested in resell rights products you are going to really want in on this one.

Just a heads up. Look here tomorrow.

Project Black Mask Review (quickly)

Posted by IMNR on Friday, 22 June, 2007

I’m not going to waste a lot of time with this one, gang. No doubt you’ve gotten an email with an affiliate link (I’ve gotten 19 to date) to this “Project Black Mask”, claiming to show you a method for exploiting a Google “loophole”. I’m giving it thumbs down for “long haul business” and a thumbs sideways for “quick cash”.

This doesn’t give you any method for building any kind of solid business. It is -very- black hat and promotes spamming, and in order to see any significant results you have to do a -lot- of work. I remember a product a while back called “Rob The Search Engines” – if you’ve seen that, you’ll understand where I’m coming from on Black Mask. Without going into a lot of details, you’ll need a -lot- of domains to get this going and make a decent amount of traffic.

However, I do see the potential for this giving you a lot of traffic, and potentially sales, rapidly. It isn’t for the faint of heart, though. A lot of work on the front end could be lost of Google catches on.

In other news, we found out that my daughter is going to need surgery. So, to help with the bill, I’ve put up a really cheap PLR special offer over at the Warrior Forum. Feel free to take a look Here, and thank you!

Thanks for being here. *whew*

This blog is a long time in the works. If you know the story behind it (and quite a few of you do), you’ll know it is the morphing of 3 blogs into one. Yeah, I have a “too many blogs not enough time” problem. So, here goes. I’ve got a ton of resources and experience in the internet marketing world. Most good, some bad. This blog is to share it with you. All of it.

I’m hoping you are new to internet marketing and have an open mind, and a desire to avoid pitfalls. I’m going to promise to myself that I’ll update -this- blog regularly.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m the developer of AffiliateManagerPro software” href=”http://www.manageyouraffiliates.com” target=”_blank”>AffiliateManagerPro software, a personal database program for affiliate marketers. It has been on the market for a little over 3 years. I am also a web designer and run a small design/hosting company. As far as internet marketing goes, I’ve been up, down, at the bottom of the barrel, and under the barrel. The benefit is I’ve learned a ton. Some of my mentors include Holly Mann, Willie Crawford, and John Jantsch. I’ll be sharing some posts from them here as well.

Will I promote products here? Yes. I’m not one to do blatant “because everyone else is” promotions – I would like you to make educated decisions about what you may or may not purchase, and I’ll do my best to help. I don’t like to sell things just to sell them. I’m a marketer, not a pimp. :-)

So, with that, off we go!
